Our story
At Designwest we kept seeing the same pattern: teams drowning in repetitive tasks, slow response times and data they couldn’t quite harness. Off-the-shelf tools helped, but the big wins came when we designed the experience properly and wired systems together — with AI at the centre.

Declan Foley
Declan Foley is a seasoned Creative Director and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience at the forefront of the creative industry. He is the founder of DesignWest, based in County Mayo, and the driving force behind its success in delivering award-winning design, branding, and digital strategies to Irish businesses of all sizes—from local SMEs and public-sector bodies to national brands.
In addition to DesignWest, Declan co-owns two U.S.-based ventures. He runs Motion Monsters LLC (www.motionmonsters.com), where he leads animation and motion-graphics projects, and is a partner at Vertical Creatives (www.verticalcreatives.com), a full-service creative agency.
Declan’s design journey began with a distinction in Design Communications. He cut his teeth in Dublin’s top marketing and communications agencies, collaborating with major national and international brands and learning to deliver high-impact creative solutions under tight deadlines. That early experience shaped his commitment to creative excellence and client-focused problem solving.
An early adopter of AI, Declan has continually integrated cutting-edge tools into both his personal workflow and his businesses. He believes that his deep background in website and app creation, combined with a passion for AI, positions him uniquely to guide organisations through their own AI-driven transformations. Alongside his brother Robert and a talented international team, he’s dedicated to helping Irish companies—and those beyond—harness AI to unlock new growth and efficiency.
Rob Foley
Rob Foley is ThinkAI's Head of Technology & Innovation and an AI-Driven Growth Leader. Rob brings a wealth of experience as a visionary technology partnerships executive with over 20 years of experience scaling growth at the intersection of software, data, and innovation. His significant prior roles include Head of Strategic Partnerships at Swiftly, where he was instrumental in shaping the modern retail tech landscape—spearheading high-impact alliances with global powerhouses like Microsoft, Salesforce, and Oracle. His leadership there delivered exponential results, including a 300x expansion in retail footprint and a 500% growth in enterprise clients.
Rob’s work stands out for its deep integration of AI and data-driven strategy. He has consistently leveraged artificial intelligence to accelerate go-to-market motions, power smarter loyalty and offer platforms, and optimize partner performance through predictive models and automation. From embedding AI-enabled digital circulars into the shopper journey to activating scalable product integrations with leading ISVs, Rob has redefined what’s possible at the edge of ecosystem innovation. A former software developer turned strategic operator, Rob brings a rare fusion of technical fluency and commercial insight. His international experience across the Americas, Europe, and Asia adds a global lens to his approach to every deal, integration, and growth strategy. This deep experience in applying emerging technologies like AI to solve complex business challenges and drive significant growth in data-intensive, dynamic environments is a cornerstone of his contribution to ThinkAI and its mission to serve Irish businesses.
